Life Organization

Hey guys! So with one of my goals for 2014 being to clean out my life, I am going to start tackling it. I have already started with cleaning out my makeup.  But I want to tackle one organizational project per week. so that's 52 by the end of 2014. And if you think I can't find 52 things to organize in my life, you thought wrong lol There is ALWAYS something I can organize.

Since I moved into my apartment, I can never seem to get my feet back under me with organizing. When I lived with my mom, I knew where everything was (for the most part). But now, I can never find anything in my apartment. You would think organization would be easier for me since I have a whole apartment for my things. No such luck. Everything is scattered everywhere, just like my brain! Below is my list of what I'm going to be doing to get my life back in order:

Coffee Table Hunt = Complete

      I have finally bit the bullet, pulled the trigger and purchased a coffee table. I'm not too sure how I feel about it though. Some days I love it and love the way it looks in my livingroom. Other days I simply think, 'why did I choose this one?' I'm so indecisive all the time, but I think I made the best choice for my current living room.

The Great Coffee Table Hunt

      I have finally made a decision on a piece of furniture for my living room. A coffee table. Maybe at some point I will get the ottoman that matches my sectional, but for now, ain't nobody got time for that! Now comes the real problem with deciding on the furniture piece.... Which coffee table do I want?

The Great Living Room Fiasco

      When I first moved into my apartment, I knew that furnishing it and decorating it the way I wanted would be a slow process. But I never thought the reason for it would be that I didn't KNOW what I wanted in the space. Yes, I have an idea of what I want it to look like, but like I said in my previous post about my apartment, New Apartment: Clean Slate or Anxiety Attack, I really have no idea what I want the space to look like.       For most people having their first place or a new place is exciting because they can finally put their style to work in a place that belongs to them. That's how I felt when I moved into my apartment back in April. My mind was full of ideas. “I'm going to have this and this and this.” “I'm going to put this here and that there.” “This room is going to be these colors.” Fast forward 4 months... None of that has happened. Sure, I have my white sectional and black dinning set but that's all. Why you ask?
