Life Organization

Hey guys! So with one of my goals for 2014 being to clean out my life, I am going to start tackling it. I have already started with cleaning out my makeup.  But I want to tackle one organizational project per week. so that's 52 by the end of 2014. And if you think I can't find 52 things to organize in my life, you thought wrong lol There is ALWAYS something I can organize.

Since I moved into my apartment, I can never seem to get my feet back under me with organizing. When I lived with my mom, I knew where everything was (for the most part). But now, I can never find anything in my apartment. You would think organization would be easier for me since I have a whole apartment for my things. No such luck. Everything is scattered everywhere, just like my brain! Below is my list of what I'm going to be doing to get my life back in order:

Makeup Cleanout!

Hey you guys! If you've been following my blog this month, you know that one of my main goals for 2014 is to be healthier by living clean. Every week I will be working towards this goal little by little. Not only will I be physically cleaning my life, but also mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I'm getting rid of all the crap in my life!

Today, I worked on a physical goal. I cleaned out my Makeup Collection. (GASP!!) I don't have much makeup, but I had noticed that I had makeup in my drawers that I wasn't using or even worse, that I had used up and the empty container was just chillin' there. Oh heck no!

Winter Date Night.. For Free!

Hey you guys! So Fridays since are the stereotypical 'date nights' and I've decided that for the time being Friday is going to be my day to talk all about the topic of love here on my blog. Today is all about Date Night and not spending a penny for it.

Now, yes, the economy is picking up but a lot of us are still struggling to make ends meet, let alone be able to take your significant other out for a date they deserve. When was the last time you had a dinner and movie date night? It's expensive now!

Even if you go to a restaurant with a 2 for $20 menu, you're still looking at least $35 for dinner after drinks and tip. And then $20 for 2 movie tickets, plus  those severely overpriced Rasinettes, popcorn and large drink. You're looking at another $35/$40 for the movies. That's $70 for about for one evening! Date Night has gone from a fun night out to a drain on the bank account and something you have to budget and plan for. And it's gone from a weekly occurrence to a once in a while treat.

Also, if you live in the northern hemisphere, it's winter right now, and there's not much that you can do in the winter. So today I have come up with 10 free date ideas. I will probably do more of these in the future, but these are the few that I came up.

Living Clean in Twenty Fourteen

Hey you guys! I hope you're all having a great start to the new year! My New Years Eve was spent at work till 7 PM and then when I got home, it was just me and my little fur baby. I made tilapia and homemade parmesan, garlic, herb potato wedges. And then we laid on the sofa and watched Dick Clark's New Years Rocking Eve. And at 12:15 AM, I went to bed.

I didn't make any New Years Resolutions this year, I never really do. But I decided that I DO want to make a few for this year. However, I'm not going to call them "New Years Resolutions" because that's not what they are. Instead, I'm going to them 'Lifestyle Changes' because that's what they are.

I want to be healthier.

Yes, I know 'being healthy' is a vague term but I have defined it for myself. I am actually excited to get started on this new path for my life. I am so over being tired all the time and unhappy and feeling terrible after I eat. So here are the changes that I am going to be making to improve my quality of life:
